Illinois / Indiana / Wisconsin Fireball Meteor ~11:00 pm CDT 25MAR2012

25MAR2012 Alexis Appleton, Wisconsin (kaukauna) between 10 & 11pm central time zone, USA 10 seconds It was inbetween south/southwest. Bright like fire. Huge flame, long tail. Shades of orange and white as well Bright like the sun. Like you has a lighter in your face. Bright, warm colors. Started off looking like a ball with fire. But as it approached the ground, the ball-like object seems to be burning up smaller. long tail, made a noise when it hit. Fell straight up & down from the sky. Incredibly up high in the air.

25MAR2012 Michele Oak Forest, IL USA 11:01pm CST 10 sec N-NE White, Pink, Yellow, Blue Like a falling firework. Amazing. Line of light, ball, line of light, smaller ball, fade out Very cloudy cool night.

25MAR2012 Sean Kennedy Hickory Hills, IL USA 23:01:00 about 5 secs Facing north, meteor travelled west to east white, green, slight yellow brighter than any Iridium flare, perhaps -11 mag. Not quite as bright as the moon Yes, fragmentation just before total disintegration Seen over a highly populated area

25MAR2012 Russell CHICAGO, Illinois (Western Ave & Wabansia Ave) 2309 CDT about 4 seconds Traveling South to North. Low in the sky. Went dark just above tree line and I was at treetop level (3rd floor condo) bright white / no sound Venus yes, ~6 very low (below clouds at 6000 feet per KORD ATIS). traveling south to north. likely landed in the northside of greater chicago area, given the low altitude (granted it may have been grains of sand by that point)
